Although this is a fun event based upon the Chongyang (Double Nine or Ninth) Festival in China, it includes a moderately strenuous, approximately one-hour round trip hike from the Ron Coleman trailhead in McKelligon Canyon up to the cave. You must wear good hiking boots/shoes, sunscreen and perhaps a hat. You absolutely must have one to two liters of water. The Dean of Hiking, Carol Brown, will be your leader.
