Sunrise Civic Group is hosting their second annual "Sunrise at Scenic Drive” event. Vendors, activities and informational booths will be set-up on Scenic Drive’s lookout point (MAP) and will include the co-sponsors: City of El Paso’s Parks and Recreation Department and Museum & Cultural Affairs Department. On Sunday mornings, Scenic Drive is closed to vehicles and open to pedestrians, bicyclers, joggers - the whole family.
Sculptures will be displayed along Rim Road. "Art on the Rim" with parkeralemán will go through the month of October. See map below.

Sunrise at Scenic and Family Fun Day, Sunday, Oct. 2 FREE
7:02 a.m. Sunrise at Scenic Drive Overlook featuring Mariachis Paso del Norte performing the music of Grammy award winner Calexico’s song “Minas de Cobre”.
Special Program with special guest Mayor Oscar Leeser recognizing El Paso and New Mexico artists displaying outdoor sculptures “Art on the Rim”.
9 – 11 a.m. Art on the Rim – Public Opening. Families are encouraged to walk a mile and view 13 Sculptors displayed from 1630 – 405 Rim Road throughout October 31
Vendors and Activities at Tom Lea Park.
Economy Cash & Carry will provide fruit and water for walkers
Maps listing the artwork will be made available to walkers
