Join experts from the 500 Women Scientists El Paso Pod and The Frontera Land Alliance for a great and educational hike Sunday, October 25th at Knapp Land! We will leave from the corner of Mountain View Drive & Zircon Dr. (MAP) at 9 AM and will return to the cars by 11 AM. Remember you MUST wear a mask (and keep appropriate distance from others whenever possible). Also bring water, wear sunblock, a hat, and sturdy walking shoes as some areas have looserocks. On this hike you will see beautiful scenery of the Franklin Mountains and northeast El Paso, as well as learn about some of the native plants, insects, and lichens found in this area of the Chihuahuan desert. Feel free to bring binoculars and a camera!
For more information, please contact Maryflor Garcia, maryflor@fronteralandalliance.org.
This hike is co-sponsored by The Frontera Land Alliance, El Paso area's only nationally-accredited land trust.
