Join a Bird Walk at Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park on February 11, 2023 at 8 am. Meet at Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park. (MAP) There is a $5 Day Use Fee. Explore the new Bird Blind that was recently installed thanks to the Mesilla Valley Audubon Society and Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park. This is a great place to see Ruby-Crowned Kinglets, Chihuahuan/Western Meadowlarks, American Kestrels, Curve-Billed Thrashers among others. Bring mosquito repellant, sunscreen, a hat, good walking shoes and water. You will be walking through thick vegetation so pants are recommended. Don't forget your binoculars and field guide books if you have them. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic at the park after we bird.
