Make a cultural field trip to the Pink Store in Palomas Mexico just across the border from Columbus, NM. (MAP) Located on the spot of an old Pancho Villa camping ground, the shop is filled with fine crafted pottery, ceramics, dinnerware, katrinas, clothing, hats, jewelry and more from Mexico and Central America. Plan to dine there and shop or just browse.

Columbus and Palomas is about an 80.3-miles ride from El Paso, a little over an hours drive. Meet at Cabela’s near Artcraft and the freeway (MAP) at 8:30 AM to carpool or caravan. After your visit to the Pink Store, take time to visit the Pancho Villa statue near city hall.
