The old Butterfield Stage went past the Rough and Ready Hills in the Organ Mountains Desert Peaks National Monument. This simple loop hike of 3 to 4 miles goes below spectacular cliffs in the hills then loops back and comes back on top of them. Meet at 9 AM at turnoff to Corralitos Road. Go to Las Cruces, take I-10 towards Deming, exit at Airport Exit; go west on north side of interstate frontage road to Corrralitos Road, County Road C009. (MAP)
