Frontera Land Alliance has made several videos now of some of the common flora in our region. The series is called “Happy Flower Friday” and you can see these videos HERE. Most of the videos are only one minute and a few seconds longer. In other words, they are educational as well as quick views. The star of the videos is environmental scientist, Maryflor Garcia Gamboa, now a member of the Frontera staff who is helping to teach us all why conserving our beautiful part of the Chihuahuan Desert is so important. Natural Wonders in Our Backyard
Dr. Matt Perkins, an Infectious Disease physician at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, has done quite a bit of hiking these past few months.
