25th Annual Interpretive Fair at Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site
Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site will be celebrating its 25th Annual Interpretive Fair, and would like to to invite the public to join the celebration Saturday, October 19th 2019 8 am – 9:30 pm and Sunday, October 20th 2019 8 am - 5 pm. Park visitors are invited to enjoy traditional Native American performances, tours, educational exhibits, rock climb, stargaze, and much more. The event is free, and all park entrance fees will be waived.
This is a great opportunity to visit the park and connect with the natural and cultural features of the region.

Native Storytellers
** Sat. Oct.19th - Join Alex Mares and 2-3 other native Storytellers from 6:30-9:30 PM and hear ancient stories from various Tribes that serve to inform, educate, and entertain the whole family! These stories are rarely told outside of the native communities. Arrive early to get a good seat. Dress warmly as evenings are getting cooler.
Storytelling will take place around a campfire with seating provided for the first 50 people - but folding chairs are encouraged.
** Videotaping or recording of stories is NOT Allowed - please respect the oral tradition.
