When you check out a blog post at either Celebrate El Paso History or Celebrate STEAM, you will be redirected here. That’s because both of them are programs under the Celebration of Our Mountains umbrella. Both have sponsored field trips that have been hugely successful. Celebrate El Paso History takes people to places of historical interest in the El Paso region. Celebrate STEAM offers field trips that focus on the science and technology of this region. Like Celebration of Our Mountains, which explores the natural wonders of our part of the Chihuahuan Desert, both are intended to promote El Paso’s history, technology and commerce.

So, some of you may be surprised when you come to the COM blog and see items about history and science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM). Be assured it all ties together.
