Nature Journaling

Follow in the footsteps of great naturalists, scientists, and artist who have shared their observations, insights, and wonderment through the pages of journals.

The arroyos of the Franklin Mountains are full of hidden wonders just waiting to inspire your creative powers! Why not take the lead of great naturalists, scientists, and artists (DaVinci, John Muir, and Charles Darwin for example) and pour that inspiration into a journal.

We will begin at the Visitor Center.

Bring: water, snacks, and a journal with art supplies (optional)

Fee: $5.00 per adult 13 years of age and older and free for Texas State Park Pass holders, and children 12 years of age and under.

Reservations required by calling the park at 915 444 9121.
