Art in the Park – Ink and Paint

Join us for one or all of the programs in this summer series to make your own set of art supplies from natural or recycled materials. The final program of the series will cover making inks and paints to use with your paper and brushes. Come ready to use a mortar and pestle! 

Optional: wear old clothes that you dont mind getting a little dirty, or bring a craft apron.

Fee: $8.00 per adult 13 years of age and older, $3.00 for Texas State Park Pass holders, and $1.00 for children 12 years of age and under.

Meeting location: Franklin Mountains State Park - 2900 Tom Mays Access Rd. Go to the Visitor Center in the Tom Mays Unit. When you enter Tom Mays, pull into the first parking lot to the right and go into the main visitor center to get your entrance permit. The event will be in the Interpretive building next door.
