EPCC | Aztec Cave Hike

  • Franklin Mountains State Park Tom Mays Park Access Road El Paso, TX United States (map)

The Aztec Cave trail is a moderate-difficulty trail that is approximately 1.2 miles roundtrip.

The hike is relatively easy but the entry to the cave is steep. Expect the hike to last anywhere between an hour to an hour and a half-depending on how long you want to stay in the cave.

We will talk about plants and animals as we hike up the trail.

There is a $5 charge to enter the state park. Please meet at the start of the Aztec Cave Trail.

*Maps are available at the entrance to the park.
