Dr. Paul Hyder will focus on what snakes are about and address some of the misunderstandings and mythology surrounding them.

Dr. Hyder is a science teacher in the Ysleta Independent School District, El Paso TX. He has taught and teaches a variety of courses: Introductory Physics, Chemistry (Intro, PAP, AP), AP Environmental Science, Environmental Systems, Biology, Geology,Meteorology-Oceanography, Human Physiology, Anatomy and Physiology and AP Statistics.From 2007 – 2014 he was the Chair of the Science Department.
