Pollinator Walk and Lecture at the Zoo

Take a pollinator walk and survey the pollinators at the El Paso Zoo (MAP) as part of Pollinator Week beginning at 10 AM. On your walk, you will identify the pollinators.

Then at 1 PM hear “Little Things That Run the World” a lecture by Dr. Paul Hyder, our expert on everything from snakes to long horned beetles, from scorpions to pollinators. The talk will cover bees, ants, wasps, flies, beetles, birds and any other critters you may see flying or buzzing about a flower. He will discuss their importance and what you can do to enhance the pollinator population.

Pollinator.org says: “Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support of pollinator health that was initiated and is managed by Pollinator Partnership. It is a time to raise awareness for pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them.”

The ZOO does charge an entrance fee.
