The Annual Pilgrimage to Mt Cristo Rey has been scheduled to coincide with the Feast Day of Christ the King. This is an excellent time to hike Cristo Rey as there will be plenty of security. Vandalism, assaults and robberies are still an ongoing problem and visitors are encouraged to visit on days when organized events such as this are being held and security is on site. At other times you may climb on your own but you do climb at your own risk. There is no security on site and no first aid unless we have a scheduled event. YOU DO CLIMB AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Please be respectful to those who are making this climb as a religious pilgrimage.
No dogs are allowed and no one will be allowed on the trail after 12 Noon.
