Join the El Paso/Trans-Pecos Audubon Chapter at Keystone Heritage Park and Wetlands for a fall bird walk. Identify common birds and explore the Keystone Wetlands. Your guide, Kevin Floyd, will help find and identify several species of ducks that are returning from their northern breeding grounds, along with wading birds and winter resident sparrows. This is the tail end of the fall migration, so who knows what interesting birds you might encounter! No prior bird watching experience required, and Audubon will have some binoculars available for participants to borrow.
Meet at the parking lot of Keystone Heritage Park at 8 am. Bird walk will last about 2 hours. There is a $2 entry fee for the park. (MAP) Wear a hat, use sunscreen, bring plenty of water, binoculars and a camera if available. Sorry, no pets allowed.
