Take your 4x4 offroad with us and visit Tonuco mountain for a moderate hike to collect fluorite and other minerals. We will also be able to enter some old mines so bring your flashlight! This trip has a limited number of participants (10 cars), and a 4x4 vehicle with high clearance is required. Please contact Celebration of Our Mountains, celebmtns@gmail.org to sign up for this trip, and make sure to bring plenty of water, a snack or light lunch, hiking footwear, and proper attire.

You must have a 4x4 vehicle with high clearance or ride with someone with a 4X4. Also bring plenty of water, sturdy hiking shoes, and a flashlight. Remember to bring a bag to collect minerals.

Meet at the Upham Exit #32, I-25N about 30 miles north of Las Cruces.
