Hike the Pine Tree Trail, a 4.5-miles loop. Plan on a 3 to 4-hours hike. This is a moderately strenuous hike. You will see Ponderosa Pine Trees and springs with pools of water. Wildflowers normally are blooming this time of year. For identifying plants, try the iNaturalist app.

Meet at Cabela's on the west side at 7:45 am for carpooling and caravanning. (MAP) We will leave promptly at 8 am and drive to the Aguirre Springs Campground. It is about an hour drive. There is a $5 per car entrance fee. Bring: 2-3 liters of water, snacks, a sack lunch to eat either on the trail or at the campground.
