Join the Chihuahuan Desert Education Coalition on a 2-miles walking tour of the Rio Bosque Wilderness Park. You will learn about the park's plant and animal communities, the multi-pronged approach to getting water to the park , restoration and recovery of damaged ecosystems as well as the historic environmental conditions in the Rio Grande Valley. Bring water, sunscreen and binoculars. Meet at Riverside Canal bridge. From 1-10 take Americas Ave to Loop 375 south to Pan Americas, turn left and travel 1.5 miles to the bridge.
