Take a 45-minutes dirt road caravan to Kilbourne Hole followed by a 2-hours moderate hike on sand to a Xeno-bomb field. Then go 45-minutes drive to Aden Crater followed by a 2-hours hike on rugged lava rock up into Aden crater and fumarole. This is a moderate hike with brief strenuous episodes over gradual and unstable terrain. Bring 3 bottles of water/person, snacks, stable/rugged shoes, hat, notebook and pen. Wear sunscreen.

Meet at the Westside Rudy's BBQ at the corner of Arcraft and Interstate 10 for caravan grouping. MAP Cars are not recommended due to ground clearance concerns on dirt roads. SUVs and trucks only. 4WD not required. Contact Rob Rohrbaugh (below) for carpool seat availability if needed.
