Cacti and Other Desert Plants of the Southwest

Hike 1.3 miles along the Agave Loop in the Franklin Mountains State Park and learn about many of the cacti and other succulents of the Franklin Mountains. The trail is steep at some parts, but offers a splendid view. Meet at parking lot for Cottonwood Spring/Mundy's Gap trail in the Tom Mays unit of the Franklin Mountains State Park. There is a $2 FMSP fee or use your Texas Parks Pass.
