Nature Walks • Guided Wetland Tours • Botanical Garden Tours • Bird Watching • Habitat, Bird, Tree and History Experts On-Site
Spend the morning at Keystone Heritage Park and enjoy easy hiking, garden tours, history lessons, visits with bird and wetland experts and much more. Mike Gaglio and Josh Villalobos will lead walks through Keystone’s 50 acres with information on the geology of the area, the mitigation of the wetlands and identifying native plants. John Kiseda will help visitors spot and identify the birds. Members of the Urban Forestry Council will be on hand to answer your questions about trees. Join Cindy Harrington as she talks about the Desert Botanical Garden. If you have not visited the Garden recently, now is the time to experience how native and adaptive plants thrive in our desert. Meet Bernie Sargent in the shade of the garden to hear about the long and varied history of the area Keystone occupies. Learn the story of Susan Magoffin, one of John Houser’s sculptures, which makes its home at Keystone. For more information, contact Joanne Burt, jburt@advertisingink.com
