Hike 1-mile up to Ranger Peak and learn about the geology and wildlife of the Franklin Mountains. Once at the top, enjoy the 360° view and then ride the Tramway down the mountain. Because of the incline, this is a strenuous hike. Meet at the Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park parking lot. Bring water, sunscreen and wear sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing. No charge.
