Hike to the ridge to view the sunset and a panorama of El Paso, New Mexico and Juarez. The hike will be mostly on the trail with a little scrambling over rocks. Take water and/or sports drink and a flashlight for the hike down. Drink before the hike and stay hydrated during this fairly high elevation gain hike. This is an out and back hike so beginners can hike as much as they want. . Meet at the Palisades Trailhead, E. Robinson Avenue and Kingery Drive. (MAP) From N. Stanton, turn on E. Robinson Avenue toward the mountain. Just before Robinson bends to join Scenic Drive, you will see a parking area for the trailhead.
