Meet Dr. Paul Hyder shortly before sunset to discuss various aspects of desert ecology. As the sun sets, you will begin exploring the area for organisms that will be starting their nocturnal activities. Dr. Hyder will discuss the various details of the ecology and behaviors of each organism. You will need decent hiking shoes and a flashlight. Event lasts 2 hours. Bring a UV light and/or camera if you can. Meet at Chuck Heinrich Park in Northeast El Paso.  Directions: Chuck Heinrich Park is located in Northeast El Paso at 11055 Loma Del Norte Dr. From the Patriot Fwy/HWY 54, take the MLK, Jr. Blvd. exit. Go north on MLK.
